ABSTRACT
Research article represents actual development of world container trade as priority factor strengthening overall production volume, investment demand, external economic cooperation and national transit capacity.
Global integration of transport processes, effecting on the decrease of involved operational costs, commonly provides competitiveness and sustainable quality of multimodal transport product.
Thematic significance refers to development of liner shipping organizational mechanism effectively integrating elements of transport complex.
Represented research is including concept of carrier’s assets investment strengthening competitiveness of national transport infrastructure and foreign trade.
In actual development trends, application of multimodal product for strategic cargo flows is efficient in complex integration with strategic priorities of liner container shipping industry.

ABSTRACT
The article is devoted to the peculiarities of business units interaction developing a flexible customer service policy to provide logistics services. Logistic service represented by specific services, related to the material flow and logistic infrastructure use, is regarded as one of the customer service component.
The process of service policy elaboration carried out in close cooperation between logistics and other related departments of the company is presented in two forms. The overall structure of the procedure reflects the logic of service provision to customers by logistics department. Detailed presentation of each step in the procedure clarifies responsibilities of the departments prescribing implemented actions and expected results of each step. The procedure emphasis the focus on the system of logistics service development the base of which is an approach how to develop standards of logistics service. Standards of logistics service take into account the restrictions on the logistics service provision and are the basis for the calculation of logistics tariffs. The paper argues the necessity of time-totime analysis of the adopted customer service policy that can be changed not only by commercial departments, but also by logistics department being the result of logistics service activities optimization.
The specific attention of the article is paid to the examination of cross-functional interaction in the company of logistics provider during of the expansion of the logistics service system portfolio by innovative proposals. Not only step by step procedure of designing an innovative portfolio of logistics services, but also the management structure of the logistics provider is described.

ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT
The development of methods and technologies in logistics planning and supply chain management is shown in the historical perspective. The article illustrates the effect of the integration of production and operating logistics activities planning as well as information integration. It is argued that the quality of planning depends on the techniques used and the level of integration and coordination both within the company and between contracting parties of the supply chain. The dynamics of planning techniques is discussed in perspective of Pull / Push systems and fundamentals of economic, technological and information drivers, which include the concept of RP - Requirements / resource planning, JIT - Just-in-time, Lean Production, ECR - Effective Customer Response, and corporate information systems of ERP level.

ABSTRACT
The main focus of the article is comprehensive analysis of confectionary market in Russia, as well as investigation of logistics and SCM specifics, existing problems and requirements to the companies. As the result of the analysis the author states that in conditions of probable economic crisis and hard competition, business should concentrate on the strategic partnerships development and balanced inventory management. Thus, VMI could help to avoid short-term ineffective interactions and increase financial output.
