ABSTRACT
The article covers issues of supply chain modeling being an important step in the decision-making process. Logistics and supply chain management consider movement and transition of material flow as well as financial, information and other flows associated with it. The characteristics of a flow must be measured considering the dynamics of the flow movement. This determines the importance of simulation modeling in decision-making support system as the approach involves the implementation of modeling system algorithm functioning in a virtual time environment.
The literature analysis, on the one hand, allowed to conclude that the traditional approach to functioning process characteristics determination involving consistent problem solving on the level of supply chain element, is limited or not reflecting the specifics of real processes where the parameters variability in time is possible. On the other hand, there is lack of specific recommendations on building models based on principles of system dynamics as a simulation modeling tool which allows to consider process characteristics variability. This determines the aim of the research a part of which presents supply chain simulation model illustrating the possibilities of the approach. The results of the work can be used both in practice for industrial enterprises and for future research.

ABSTRACT
In the logging process, it is possible to build a technological chain in various ways. When transporting wood from the cutting area, water or land transport can be used. The use of forest warehouses and the processing of wood on them also increase the number of different configurations of logistics channels. Performing operations in different natural production conditions differs in productivity and material costs. The efficiency of production depends on the choice of logging technology in dynamic natural production conditions. In previous publications the authors presented a graphic-analytical model and method to solve the problem. The proposed mathematical dependencies allow us to search for the maximum material flow of the minimum cost in the logistics network of the enterprise. In addition to the dynamic component, the method differs by considering the income of the enterprise from the sale of commodity products. The purpose of this study is to use this technique to improve the logistics network of logging enterprises, considering the complex of transport, loading and unloading and processing operations in dynamic natural production conditions. The solution of the considered problem is based on the algorithm for determining the flow of minimum cost in a transport network Bascara of Gowan. It is modified because when the flow passes through any of the arcs, the throughput of arcs that reflect similar operations in the same period decreases. This considers the reduced productivity of machines and equipment involved in different parts of the logistics network. The given minimum cost flow found in this way is optimal if there are no negative cycles in the network with modified arc costs. The presented studies consider a numerical example of solving this problem for the conditions of the Krasnoyarsk territory. The numerical example showed the efficiency of the method of finding a rational logistics channel for logging operations in dynamic natural production conditions.

ABSTRACT
The article considers the task associated with the analysis and the evaluation of metal trading company business processes. Particularly, these business processes are connected with the shipments from the supplier's warehouse and the optimization of the transport customer service in the most efficient way as the related services for the main activities. The implementation of enterprise services for the provision of transport services and increasing their share in the total volume of shipments of finished products to customers is suggested. In the article the model of transport service organization efficiency estimation in the metal trading company subject taking into account the restrictions on the existing capacity, traffic and intensity of service is suggested. Also, the model takes into account the dynamics of the finished product flow from the production to the trader warehouse inside the considered transportation network to further its implementation, shipment and export. The problem which is stated in the article is solved by means of economic-mathematical modeling.

ABSTRACT
High level of competition is an essential feature of modern business. In Russian business practice – logistics departments are the main cost centers and the fact that logistics creates the additional value for the customer is simply ignored.
System modeling helps to solve some of the issues related to the logistics contribution into company value. As a possible result – the release of the company's facilities, updated logistics strategy, reducing the share of logistics costs in the final price of the product.
The article highlights issues such as the impact of logistics on the profitability of the company's capital, the ability to assess this impact. Within the paper the model to estimate this impact is developed. A series of simulations to develop a model were held, including simulations on using real figures from one of the leading Russian pharmaceutical companies.
During the simulations the individual impact of factors on the company’s capital, and the influence on it of a group of factors was assessed. Analysis after the simulations allowed to establish the relationship between components of the model. Revealed patterns can be used in the future for the development or correction of the company’s logistics strategy. Regularities, identified within the simulations can be approximated to the actual dependencies, with the statistics accumulation and taking into the consideration the environmental factors (geopolitics, demographics, etc.).
