ABSTRACT
A company's turnover growth and market position expansion are nowadays impossible without substantial innovative and technological changes. Besides, in the conditions of consumer market stagnation it is impossible to increase profitability by increasing product prices, as there is a high risk of losing in competitive fighting. Therefore it is necessary to cut costs and increase productivity.
Searching solutions to these tasks sometimes leads to unconventional results. Here is one of such solutions aimed at partially cutting logistics costs.

ABSTRACT
The relevance of the considered the author of the theme is that during development of the project developer focuses on the optimization of financial indicators: Bank discount rate the interest cost on the value of the construction and subsequent delivery, such as for rent, but few says and examines optimizing space-planning decisions of the warehouse, engineering networks and constructions.
In this context, this article deals with the topic of the impact of the presence or absence of a mezzanine on the financial model of the project as a whole.
In the practice of designing and building modern warehouses building adopted Gables above the dokovymi zones (zones of loading and unloading). At the same time, never discusses how mezzanine affect: the cost of construction and financials.
Author, firstly, considers what mezzanines can be found in warehouses, secondly, on the example of one project is considering several options for the financial model of the project: mezzanine floor and without mezzanine:
1) Project budget:
- Purchase of land;
- Pre-project stage;
- Design stage;
- Construction costs;
- Costs for the Organization and management of the project;
- Reserve for unforeseen expenses.
2) Projected financial results of the project:
- Discount rate;
- Payback period-PB;
- Discounted payback period-the DPB;
- The average rate of return-ARR;
- Net income-cited NPV;
- Profitability index-PI;
- Internal rate of return-IRR;
- Modified internal rate of return-MIRR.
Research methodology is based on one project developer with the processing results by using AUTOCAD and the calculation of financial models using the Project Expert.
On the basis of the carried out researches the author makes the following findings:
1) Total construction cost of 1 sq.m. in stock without mezzanine is slightly higher. This can be explained by the fact that the relative cost, for example, the land remained the same as in option with a mezzanine, and reducing other costs not offset the decrease in the total area of the warehouse.
2) Despite the fact that the cost of construction of a warehouse without mezzanine is cheaper, but reducing the total area of the warehouse have not resulted in improved financial performance. Increased the payback period, though not significantly decreased net income shown in the reporting period.

ABSTRACT
The significance of the topic in question lies in the fact that during warehouse maintenance there arise such issues as increased equipment purchase costs, loss of productivity at loading and unloading operations and goods receipt and shipment, which can be connected to installation of a mezzanine above dock zones (loading/unloading, receipt and expedition zones). In this respect the article reveals influence of mezzanine on warehouse cargo handling and partially its influence on warehouse structural elements.
Practice of modern warehouse design and construction allows construction of a mezzanine above dock zones (loading / unloading zones). At the same time there appear two key questions – the installation height and the width of a mezzanine. However, the following issues are never considered: construction costs, warehouse structural elements and, which is
important, cargo handling processes, amount of weight-handling equipment, number of employees etc.
Taking warehouses of companies specializing in warehouse design and construction as examples, the author describes how a mezzanine together with a warehouse topology will influence cargo handling in a warehouse:
1) Types of structural mezzanine;
2) Height of mezzanine construction above the floor (mark 0,000);
3) Width of mezzanine construction;
4) Column space below a mezzanine;
5) Installation of dock equipment below a mezzanine, in particular, installation of sectional doors;
6) Cargo handling, amount of weight-handling equipment and number of employees in any variant of mezzanine construction;
7) Warehouse structural elements influence on variants of mezzanine construction.
Research methodology is based on the author’s study of space-planning decisions of warehouse complexes with the aid of AUTOCAD software and design of logistic operations map for each warehouse under consideration.
Based on the undertaken study the author makes the following conclusions:
1) Mezzanine height to the floor bottom is to be no less than 4.80m;
2) For optimal work space organization, it is necessary to use sectional doors with high lift with a mezzanine, or with vertical lift without a mezzanine;
3) For compact arrangement of stair flights, it is necessary to use four-flight stairs.

ABSTRACT
On the one hand, the relevance of this research is determined by an attempt of solving the problem of optimal inventory allocation, which can open the possibilities for increase in stock turnover. On the other hand, there was an attempt to extend the list of problems which can be solved by operations research methods. The potential of application of operations research methods (transport model as a specific case of linear programming, in particular) is underestimated. According to Taha [2011], a transport model is a problem of finding optimal allocation of homogeneous objects from accumulators to receivers with minimizations of costs on displacement or movement. In our opinion, the canonical form of a transport model represents accumulators as points of departures, receivers as clients and cost on displacement as transport costs. The paradigm of using this model is constrained by using the latter in transport logistics only. In fact we can apply this model in much more problems (micro, meso or macro level). This study shows that objects and variables from the canonical transport model can be represented as objects from different fields (beyond logistics) thus helping to find an optimal solution to a certain problem. Our study represents accumulators as nominal cells where work-in-process (WIP) product is in the warehouse, receivers - as production lines and costs on displacements as mileage of loaders. Thus, the cost function Z that we want to optimize is the function of mileage of loaders. Minimizing function Z will enable us to find the optimal allocation of WIP products to production lines (next production stage)

ABSTRACT
Post-soviet industrial companies often have archaic warehouse system. The production integrity and safety was key goal of provision system in that time. Nobody took care of production stock storage efficiency. Nowadays new owners of those companies started to look after stock management and storage capacity performance.
In addition, there are processes of building vertical integrated chains of enterprises. As usual, within such processes, it is resolving issue of storage locations termination or modernization of raw materials, semi products or spare parts. On the other hand, there are risks of production integrity, health or environmental safety, especially on dangerous production lines, in case of storage location operations termination, increasing of downtime. Therefore, storage locations release should be completed with the consideration of those risks. The article describes practical example of storage locations reduction on continuous production plant. The practice has been applied within the project of provision system optimization and can be useful for great variety of companies.

ABSTRACT
Implementation of the construction of constantly operating automobile and railway bridge between the Crimea and continental of Russia will create new distribution of logistic infrastructure in the Azov sea region.In this article possibilities of logistics infrastructure and the most perspective investment projects of the Azov sea region for the purpose of an assessment of the risks, arising at possible change of chains of mixed deliveries, after a construction of the Bridge, are investigated. The fulfilled analysis of the main freight traffics following now through ports of the region shows that a part of infrastructure can become less demanded, and investment projects to lose appeal with the origin of the bridge, and it is necessary to take proposed measures for the solution of this problem.

ABSTRACT
In this paper a new format of the procedures for determining the best solution is presented to solve multicriteria optimization problems in the supply chain. This format includes: 1) modifying parameters of the particular criteria, taking into account the attitude of decision maker (DM) to such indicators and the importance of the attitude of DM to criteria themselves (which is implemented using a comparison procedures developed for the analytic hierarchy process); 2) implementation of procedures for the selection on the basis of the traditional theory of selection criteria (which corresponds to the synthesis procedures, analytical hierarchy process method with the traditional theory of optimization procedures). Illustrations of the proposed approach to the modification of the selection procedures are given for the problem related to optimizing the locations of the warehouse and its form of ownership. It is shown that the presented approach to optimization solutions will expand the available arsenal of methods for selecting managers that will give an opportunity to improve the quality of decisions due to better adapt them to the preferences of the decision maker.
