ABSTRACT
The article shows the relevance of reliable control and monitoring of processes in re-tail supply chains. We consider terminological aspects, general problems and the benefits of effective supply chain monitoring (SCMo). The article analyzes the main drivers of con-trol and monitoring of retail supply chains. The evolution of control systems and monitoring of operations in supply chains based on the concept / methodology of the Supply Chain Con-trol Tower (SCCT) is considered. It is shown that from a historical perspective, the concept of SCCT has passed through four stages (generations): from version SCCT 1.0 to SCCT 4.0. Each generation of the Control Tower is described in detail from the standpoint of functio-nality, advantages, limitations, and software and technological implementation. In terms of methodology, the importance of ensuring traceability and end-to-end (Е2Е) visibility of the supply chain for monitoring retail supply chains has been proved. The article analyzes sig-nificant factors affecting the traceability of the supply chain, as well as characteristics, technical standards and cloud technologies. The visibility of the supply chain of a chain retail operator is illustrated by the example of the cloud platform of the companies Nexus GT and Infor.

ABSTRACT
The advanced concept of control, monitoring and management of complex supply chains «Supply Chain Control Tower – SCCT» is considered. The basic terminology is given, the problematics is indicated and the key stages of the evolution of the SCCT concept are analyzed in the direction of increasing the maturity level of projects from version CT 1.0 to version CT
4.0. The shortcomings of earlier versions of the Control Tower (1.0-2.0) are analyzed. The article describes the design methodology of modern SCCT, including ensuring end-to-end visibility of the supply chain, building and exchanging data in a Multi-party Network, synthesis of a digital model – a twin of the physical supply chain; creation of information hubs for reli-
able storage and transmission of information using digital technologies, in particular, the blockchain. Examples of the implementation of the Control Tower 4.0 company One Network are set. The advantages of using advanced versions of Control Tower 4.0 for controlling and adaptive management of complex supply chains using predictive analytics and artificial intelligence are shown.

The Logistics Risks Control and Monitoring System Development
MAGAZINE №1 (78) February 2017

CATEGORY The uncertainty and risks in supply chains
ABSTRACT
Supply chain functioning on Russian market depends on the effective response to internal and external risks in a great measure. The risks volatility increases from year to year. The existing risk management practice in such companies is usually limited by the security and surplus facilities creation as well as high stock level keeping. The importance of the methodology development in logistic risk management in domestic enterprises supply chains is provided by the high level of losses and expenses related with the logistic risks presence against a backdrop of the limited practice of implementing modern risk management methods. In the article the logistic risks control and monitoring system development procedure which is based on SCEM (Supply Chain Event Management) is provided. The most critical moments peculiarities which are needed to take into account in the development process are described. Moreover, several steps are demonstrated through the example of Downstream contour of iron and steel company supply chain. Special emphasis is placed on the events identification problems as well as on the disbenefits estimation approach which appeared because of the risk event.

ABSTRACT
Recently the importance of logistic risks management problem is increasing. The number of publications connected with such problems as the assessment of the logistic risk event consequences and logistic risks management effectiveness is growing. The effectiveness is interrelated with the reliability, sustainability and other terms which have close meaning. Meanwhile, there is not a consistent approach to the systematization and structuring of these terms up to now. Their essesnce understanding is crucial for the approach development concernint the logistic risks management effectiveness evaluation in supply chaind and supply chain diagnostics for the purpose of risks identification. In this article the attempt to systematize the main elements of the term “supply chain sustainability” is made. Moreover, the types and response characteristics of supply chains on disturbing actions are given. The main directions of supply chain sustainability evaluation are determined and the logistic risks identification procedure in iron and steel companies’ supply chains is suggested and demonstrated.
