ABSTRACT
The relevance of the subject is due to the problem areas presence in the organization of products international delivery to the national market. In the present article, a number of historical examples of the application of the «just-in-time» concept principles in the processes of customs clearance and management of international transportation were considered. At the end of the article, conclusions were drawn about the existing business needs in additional developments (scientific and technical) in this area:
■ Algorithmization of customs clearance processes in order to reduce the time of goods release for free circulation and minimize the traders’ costs.
■ Balancing between the policy of protectionism and free trade.
■ Infrastructural changes related to customs posts and custom terminals.
■ The need for qualified personnel in the field of international transport management and customs clearance.
■ New objects of transport infrastructure that meet the requirements of modern markets for goods and services.
