ABSTRACT
In the environment of competitive market Supply Chain Management is important task for a business, and appropriate solution of these problem enables enterprises to win on the market by reducing cost and improving service level. Nevertheless, supply chain management requires appropriate approach to make balanced and reasonable decisions. Modelling in supply chain management can used as appropriate tool for enterprise to make optimal decisions for business, with accordance to effect on every stream of supply chain.
At the particular article we provide a broad review of business process development in supply chain management. We show physical, logical, and mathematical models based on the analysis of high-level business processes description: demand planning, capacity planning, and part of operational logistics budget with predicted changes and planned activities. This topic helps to solve actual problems of SCM, and is thus highly relevant for international and national companies. The purpose of this article is to provide complex review of researches on the topic of business processes development, to structure the drivers, impediments, and facilitators supported by an extensive bibliography.
We can conclude that use modelling principles by enterprises of various scale, is powerful tool to predict results of decisions and to identify bottlenecks and gaps in supply chain.
