ABSTRACT
This article is devoted to the consideration of the integrated planning process organization in supply chains. This process is one of the main ones in the supply chain, because it helps to achieve the production quality, decrease total operational costs and volume of the storage materials, and also increase level of the company productivity. Currently, most of the companies which are interested in improving their efficiency through the supply chains integrated planning, faced a lot of problems related with the theory and methodology insufficient development of this direction in the supply chain. This problem mainly concerns companies in the extractive industries due to the fact that all scientific and practical research focused on studies of integrated planning in supply chain at the enterprises of commercial and industrial industries, such as FMCG sector, automotive, textile and light industry, etc. In this regard, in this article there will be described the relevance and necessity of integrated planning in supply chains of mining companies, and also a comprehensive approach which focused on the organization of integrated planning in supply chains of gold mining companies will be considered.

ABSTRACT
Market conditions changing led to a significant transformation of the supply chain management system of leading metal companies. The paper contains the results of the study conducted by the author on the systematization and formalization of specialized approaches to managing supply chains of leading metal companies and their relationships, comparing these processes with the standard supply chain management models SCOR + CCOR + DCOR and GSCF. The analysis formalized the main directions of the methodology development of supply chain planning in terms of adapting to the specific of metals including: the reorganization of relations of existing planning processes in accordance with best practices in the industry planning; consolidation of models CCOR, SCOR and DCOR in a single system of supply chain planning processes; refinement steps of the planning process, and the introduction of additional, if necessary; formalization of methods and planning models; definition of requirements for information technology support. It was noted that the requirements for systematization and development of the planning methodology are defined by the needs of its application to ensure the competitiveness of Russian metal companies in a tough fight in the global market.

ABSTRACT
The article provides an overview of the current state of the steel industry in the world and in Russia in particular. It was noted that over the past decade the supply chain leading steelmakers have gone through a series of transformations that have radically changed the requirements for their management. A study of the evolution of supply chains of ferrous metallurgy companies are provided, analysis of the factors that demonstrate large-scale shift in the global steel markets is presented. The paper examines the structure of a typical supply chain of a ferrous metallurgy company. The generalized model of the supply chain, including mining and metallurgical complexes based on the upgraded SCOR notation is proposed.
Increase in attention to the creation and development of partnerships/strategic alliances between players of metallurgical market and the joint efforts of customers and producers to stimulate growth and innovation opportunities is highlighted. The main features of metallurgical production are analyzed in terms of their planning: the main bottleneck of production, production cycle, volatility of metallurgical processes, production campaigns. The analysis of the key challenges for the steel companies for the coming years are presented: the excess of supply over demand, a large amount of excess capacity. The following areas of improvement are proposed: cost minimization, differentiated service for customers, standardization and transparency of processes and operations in the supply chains, the development of new technological products, reducing emissions. The appropriate improvement tools are proposed: methodology change based on the principles and processes of Supply Chain Management as well as IT tools to support planning of supply chains of steelmakers – Advanced Planning and Scheduling systems for Metals. On the basis of practical experience estimates of planning processes organization impact in accordance with best practices and appropriate information support to key performance indicators of companies are provided.
