ABSTRACT
Even nowadays the task of supply batch’s optimal size determination, which was first examined as long ago as the beginning of previous century, is one of the most actual tasks concerning warehouse systems’ organization of functioning. But the results of the calculation based on Willson’s formula or its further modifications (economical and mathematical models) have restricted practical significance caused by not-taking account of both time factor and stochastic nature of important parameters of logistic process. Mentioned feature defined reasonability of simulation modeling software’s application for solving the task of supply batch’s optimal size determination to achieve more appropriate calculation results.
